Sap gathering

2016 is just coming to an end but that doesn’t stop me from working on my 2018 calendar (I still have a few 2017 calendars left.).  There is no theme to the pictures but all pictures will be done in the same media.  I will be working on colored matboard with graphite and white.  I am using a variety of white- white charcoal, conte and chalk.  The color will come from the matboard and with the graphite and white I can get a great value range. It makes for a fun challenge!
